Along with magnificent Orcas and majestic Humpback whales, the Pacific West Coast is home to several species of captivating aquatic animals and extraordinary birds. Join us on a whale watching tour during the Spring and Fall and see animated Sea Lions, amazing Bald Eagles and more fascinating birds.

Every year hundreds of Sea Lions travel to these waters to bulk up on fat storages to prepare themselves for migration to their breeding grounds where they will not eat for months. You will typically see these lively creatures on rocky features soaking up the sun, hear them as they growl, bark and burp at each other, and smell them if you just happen to be downwind. On these tours you can also spot Bald Eagles soaring the skies or come upon them perched in a nest or witness these striking birds adding to the breathtaking scenery of BC.

Trips mid-September to the end of Oct and April & May
Established in 1998, Vancouver Whale Watch is the original whale watching company in Vancouver. Departing from the charming historic fishing village of Steveston, every year we welcome visitors locally and from around the world. Travelling through the spectacular Gulf and San Juan islands our guests can discover magnificent killer whales, humpback whales, sea lions, bald eagles and more breathtaking marine wildlife in their natural habitat. Our professional wildlife guides onboard are well educated on marine mammals, local flora and fauna, waterways and surrounding islands; transforming our fleet of zodiacs into floating classrooms and educating the public about conservation of marine wildlife.
