The Front Line Ambassadors Program is intended to provide front line staff with the necessary resources to provide exemplary service to their guests. As part of the program, we have developed a Front Line Ambassadors Tool Kit: a collection of guides, itineraries, and maps of Richmond.

CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Tourism Richmond is excited to announce the launch of the Front Line Ambassadors Certificate Program! The purpose of this program is to allow front-line staff to become Destination Ambassadors for Richmond and learn all they need to know so that they can tell their guests about what to see and do here while they visit! We want to recognize front line staff who are:

  • Richmond Destination Ambassadors
  • Actively promote Richmond and its attractions to their guests
  • Have excellent knowledge of Richmond
  • Looking to advance their knowledge of Richmond

HOW IT WORKS

Attend at least one Destination Training workshop (online or in-person) or FAM, you will be eligible to complete a Destination Knowledge Test. Upon successful completion of the test, we will send you a certificate of recognition and a destination pin.

Once you have attended a FAM or Training workshop, please email Abigail at alawrence@tourismrichmond.com and she will forward you the link to the test.

  • Attraction Tour Guides and Interpreters
  • Destination Management Organization Volunteers
  • Visitor Servicing Representatives
